Brilliant blubber

 We had a great time trying to find out why some animals have blubber. We placed our hands in some ice cubes to see how it felt, we couldn’t keep our hands in there for long. Then we tried with a glove, this acted like a layer of skin but it was still too cold. Finally, we added a huge lump of lard (fat) and we couldn’t feel the cold at all! It was disgusting, smelly, greasy but a whole lot of fun!
