PE and Sport Premium Funding
The school received PE and Sports Premium of £16,870 for 2022-2023 and spent the funding on the following:

sports partnership with Bishop Heber High School and the BFGS cluster of primary schools (this included regular tournaments and sports events through the year, staff development and ‘Buddy’ training for Y5/6 pupils)

coaching support for the teaching of cricket through Owen Williamson from the Cheshire Cricket Board (Y1-6)

purchasing resources for the school hall

CEPD Sports Coaching for all pupils Nursery-Year 6. (half a day)

Extra Curricular sports clubs

Yoga session- wellbeing for year 6 pupils.
Our Finance Committee review the spending of the sports premium grant termly and report to the Full Governing Body. An annual Sports Premium Impact Statement is shared with Governors.
