Remote Learning
At Tilston Parochial Primary School we are able to provide remote learning opportunities for our children during times when attending is school is restricted. We use School Spider to provide daily activities, inline with our medium term planning, and assess work. Children receive daily feedback from teachers.
As a Church school, daily worship is very important and we provide daily live Zoom worships during school closures. During Covid-19 lockdown in 2020-2021, we found live worships were key in keeping our school community together.
As a school we will:
Class teachers will provide appropriate work for all pupils in their class
Daily maths and literacy will be set. Foundation subject work will be set in line with our curriculum planning.
Work will be set and available to children before 8.50am every day.
Work will be assigned using the School Spider.
Teachers will continue to set work and assess pupils in their classes.
Teachers will provide timely and effective feedback on work to their students.
Using School Spider, pupils will complete work and return it to teachers for feedback.
