Welcome to the Bluebell Nursery homepage.
Mrs Edwards is our class teacher and we have lots of teaching assistants that help us too. Mrs Toan works with us on a Monday and Friday. Mrs Hewitt works with us all day on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and a Friday morning. We also have Ms Jukes amnd Miss Davies who helps us at lunchtimes.

PE
Monday mornings until 21st October 24
Wednesday Afternoons from 6th November 24
If your child attends Nursery on a PE day please make sure that they come to Nursery with a PE kit in a bag. This should consist of a t- shirt and warm sweatshirt, shorts or joggers and trainers or pumps. The children will dress and undress themselves with the support of an adult.
Outdoor Learning
Outdoor Learning this term will take place on Wednesday mornings of the 13th and 20th November 2024.
If your child attends Nursery on a Wednesday morning, please make sure your child comes to nursery in a warm jumper and joggers ready for outdoor learning if the weather is cold. Please provide a pair of wellington boots which can be kept in the setting.Waterproof overalls are provided.
We do spend a huge amount of time learning outdoors so please remember to dress your child according to the weather. Please make sure your child has a hat and gloves in the Winter months and a sun hat and cream applied in the Summer.
Stay and Play
Stay and play sessions happen once a month. Please check the newsletter for dates.
The New Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum
From September 2021 we are following a new Early Years curriculum. The Department of Education (DFE) have published a guide for parents entitled 'What to Expect in the Early Years Foundation Stage' Please feel free to download the document attached below to help you understand the changes and to suppport your child.
