Children's Committee inspect building works!

On Friday, the Children's Committee met with the site manager of the new hall and classroom project, Steve, to discuss and view the work in progress. 

Firstly, we were inducted onto the site, thus ensuring we were aware of health and safety procedures that we needed to adhere to. The meeting took place on a second floor container which Dylan thought was very exciting! Next, we were able to see the new Year 1/2 classroom, which has all the walls built and the roof is nearly completed. We thought the size of the classroom seems great and Grace thought that it will be very bright and stimulating due to the many windows and large door.

Finally, we saw the new hall. We really liked the contrasting brick colours and the slope of the roof. We cannot wait until all the work is completed and we are able to use our fabulous new hall.

We would like to thank Steve, the project manager, for such an informative site tour - we really appreciated all the time he spent with us.
