Cricket in the sunshine

We have enjoyed a fantastic first PE lesson in the House Martins. We are lucky to welcome back our cricket coach this term who started our lesson by setting us a tricky catching challenge. Can we throw the ball, complete ‘head, shoulders, knees and toes’, and still catch the ball? I was amazed by the determination and skill the House Martins showed. We also practised hitting and running between the wicket. What a wonderful way to start the term!
