Investigating Germs

The Robins have been learning about personal hygiene in science this week. We talked about how germs are invisible and that it is important to wash our hands to get rid of the germs. 
To understand how germs can stick to our hands and how they get washed away with soap, we carried out a little investigation using pepper. When we put our hands in the water without soap, the pepper stuck to our hands. However, when we used soap on our hands the germs moved away to the edges of the plate.
