Living out our values of Joy and Friendship in D&T this week

This week we have been appreciating the abundance of apples we have growing in our gardens by making delicious apple crumbles in our D&T lessons.

The House Martin have been developing their cutting and peeling skills this term in D&T by using the apples we bought in from home We enjoyed researching and planning our crumbles before putting our 'claw' and 'bridge' skills into practise to cut our apples. Finally we evaluated our crumbles and thought about what we would do differently in the future.

There were lots of smiles as the children supported one another and it was wonderful to see 33 apple crumbles ready to be shared at home with family or friends. Great job House Martins!
