Making our model Roman roads

We’ve had a fantastic morning in the House Martins making our own model Roman roads. During our topic lessons we have researched how the Romans built their roads and what they used.  We then thought about what we could use to build our models. We used custard as cement, M&Ms for stones and Nice biscuits as paving stones. Our next job is to write our own instruction for how to build a model Roman road.
