Maths in the House Martins

This week we have been deepening our understanding of place value. Firstly we used maths equipment to help us explore different ways to partition 3 and 4 digit numbers. Then we challenged ourselves by tackling reasoning and problem solving questions, before teaching the rest of the class what we had discovered. It’s been a busy week!
