Polar Day in the Kestrels

We had a wonderful day exploring the Poles. First, we had a fantastic talk from our special guest, a real polar explorer about his incredible adventures to the Antarctic and the equipment he used. Then, we investigated how to design the best ship to carry passengers, how to design the best hull to break through the thick ice, how to use levers to create our own ocean grabbers and how to balance cargo in our ships. We have had a very enjoyable day!
