Powerful descriptions inspired by the school grounds - Kestrel Class

This week we gained inspiration for our writing using the school descriptions created by the children were  absolutely outstanding. We then used this to develop descriptions of another setting, which were also creative and extremely powerful - showing how well our writing skills are improving. 

Division of fractions has been the focus in Year 6 this week. Short multiplication and division skills have been developed by the Year 5 children, who all embraced the challenges faced with enthusiasm. 

We have been learning about the timeline involved in WWII and discovering other interesting facts.
