The Enormous Turnip

In the Wrens class we have been reading the story of The Enormous Turnip. We  looked at a real turnip and then drew and painted some different sized turnips, learning to mix the colours we needed. 

We also used our different senses to explore how the turnip looked, smelt, felt and tasted. Here are some of the children's comments
