Welcome Back House Martins!

We have had a great first week back and have settled into our new class groups. We have The Little Owls, The Barn Owls, the Tawny Owls, Sparrows, Chaffinches and Starlings. All the groups have shown great skill in co-operative learning tasks and we have lots of fun activities planned this term.

Our class newsletter went home on Friday so please pop into class if you didn't receive one. We are looking at the story of 'Gorilla' by Anthony Browne and for the first few weeks of term our Science and Topic work will be based around this story. This week we will be working on group investigations in mathematics which will also be linked to this fabulous story.

Please can PE kits stay in school all week so that we are ready to take advantage of any dry weather and use of the school field.

I will keep you posted on the results of our mathematics investigation and any other news.
