World War One Banner

Our wonderful House Martins contributed beautifully to the World War 1 commemorations this week, especially by working together to make a banner which was displayed in the Tilston Memorial Hall.

We looked at how thousands of volunteers had come together when assembling the poppies at the Tower of London display . Using this idea as inspiration we worked as a team, sharing sketch book ideas to produce a piece of artwork which every member of the class took part in.

We hope you agree that they did a super job.

The Key Strings performance also inspired our class as you can see !
