Smarties division

This week in the Robins class we have been learning all about multiplication and division. Today we explored division by sharing using Smarties! We estimated how many smarties were in each box then started sharing them out between 2, 3, 4 people. We found that sometimes you can’t share certain amounts equally and you may end up with a remainder. Mrs Bryan said that if we worked hard and well together then we could eat the smarties in our box, luckily, we were all fantastic!
