NSPCC Number Day 2018
Friday 2nd February 2018
Our NSPCC Number Day started quite dramatically! On entering the hall for Worship, we quickly realised we had a problem, with part of our hall cordened off. The KS 1 children had to become detectives and try and find the stolen bear. The children had to apply their mathematical skills to solve a range of clues. Congratulations to our KS 1 children who solved the clues and luckilly saved the Bear!
Our Kestrels and House Martins had to solve a murder mystery. They too used mathematical skills, such as measuring the suspects pulse rates to eliminate innocent suspects and nail the killer!
In the afternoon the children worked in House Teams on a range of maths activities in our outodoor learning areas. It was a fun afternoon with great learning taking place and most importantly we raised money for the NSPCC.
